The owners were lovely and helped me with my visa. Breakfast was tasty, though not exactly gourmet. A peaceful retreat after the chaos of Bangkok.
The walls were so paper-thin that I could hear the neighbors' cat purring. And the plastic tarp in the dining area added a touch of elegance, like dining in a plastic bag.

I absolutely loved the location of this homestay. It's just a short walk to the big fresh market, where you can find amazing local produce. And if you feel like exploring, you can take a leisurely stroll to the river and enjoy the beautiful views. the shop next to the house is also very convenient for any last-minute needs. Plus, the garden is simply delightful, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
I did notice that the cleanliness of the room could have been better.

the lady owner spoke enough English to communicate and was helpful with some recommendations. the garden was nice and quiet, and I enjoyed having breakfast there. the room itself was spacious and had a good working air conditioner. the breakfast offered was good value for the price. the location was great, within walking distance to the bus station, main street, night market, and the famous Kwai bridge. It was also convenient to rent a scooter or bike from the hotel.
The room was not up to my expectations at all. It was dirty and infested with bugs, which is understandable during the rainy season but still very uncomfortable.

The owners gave us a warm and enthusiastic greeting and were incredibly helpful with renewing our visa. They had extensive knowledge about the area's tourist attractions such as the Bridge over R. Kwai, museums, waterfalls, and temples. The morning American-style breakfast was simple but delicious and made to order. It was a pleasant surprise that they spoke English fluently, making communication easy. The homestay provided a peaceful and relaxing environment after the constant partying in Bangkok. The garden was a lovely place to have breakfast and take breaks, and we could even wash our clothes by hand and hang them in the garden. The room was spacious for one person and the AC worked perfectly. The location was great, within walking distance to the bus station, main street, night market, and the Kwai Bridge. The option to rent a scooter or bicycle at affordable prices was convenient. our stay at Baanchaokoh Homestay was enjoyable and well worth the price.

I recently stayed at Baanchaokoh Homestay for a few days and it was a delightful experience. The hosts, a charming couple, made me feel like I was staying at my grandparents' home. The rooms were comfortable and equipped with air conditioning. The highlight was the beautiful garden, where they grow exotic fruits right above your head. I highly recommend their affordable and tasty breakfast, which you can enjoy while chatting with the owners who speak excellent English.

The location of the hotel was convenient, being close to the train station and bus terminal, making it easy to explore the city. Additionally, the option to rent bicycles for a low daily rate was a great way to get around. Another advantage was the beautiful garden surrounding the hotel, providing a peaceful atmosphere away from any street noise.
The smaller budget rooms had three air-conditioning units on the outside walls, which made quite a bit of noise, causing the walls and windows to vibrate. This could be bothersome for light sleepers.
